BBQ Basket / Canasta de barbacoa

The PTA is trying to raise money for the school. This year each class is assignemed a theme, 4th grade has BBQ as our theme. Students are asked to bring things related to our theme by Friday, May 24th. During the school carnival which is on June 1st, parents will be able to action for items that any classroom has collected.

Our class is helping out OSU scientists to track the Rufous and Anna hummingbird. Check out their blog to find out more about these amazing birds.

Next week we will begin math OAKS testing. Please take time to review vocabulary we have learned this year. Try to visit the website to do some more practice questions.

PASEO - FIELD TRIP

El martes 12 de febrero iremos a ver una obra en el teatro Majestic. La obra se llama Bocon y es una obra bilingue. Nos iremos de Garfield a las 12:30 y regresaremos a las 2:30. Necesitamos ayudantes para acompañarnos. Favor de donar $5 para ir a la obra.

On Tuesday, February 12th we will be going to a play at the Majestic theater. We will go see a bilingual play called "Bocon." We will leave Garfield at 12:30 and return at 2:30. We will need a few chaperons to accompany us on the trip. A $5 donation to go on the field trip is appreciated.
